When people talk about Malaysia, they usually think of the usual attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers, the Dutch Square, the Kuala Lumpur Tower, etc.

But, did you know that there are lesser-known but still worthy things that you can do in Kuala Lumpur? Take for example the fact that you can get some amazing girl escorts in the city so that you can enjoy the entire night.

Or perhaps, you can go to Selangor River and dance with the fireflies. There are loads of things to do in this culturally-diverse city and in today’s article, I will highlight some of the best lesser things to do in Kuala Lumpur.

Eat the City’s Best Nyonya Foods at Pasar Seni

The Chinese have imparted their own culture into Malaysia and it is evident in some of the foods that you can find in the city.
If you want to eat the best Nyonya foods, then go to Pasar Seni to sample some of the best in the city.

For those of you who do not know, Nyonya food is a combination of both Malay and Chinese influences that results in mouth-watering dishes that are worth your time.

Sample Some Chicken Wings

I am a sucker for chicken or buffalo wings and on the streets of Jalan Alor, you will find plenty of them in the Hawker food stalls that you can find. However, there is one particular food stall that, at least in my opinion, offers the best chicken wings in the city.

I highly recommend that you sample Wong Ah Wah’s famous BBQ Chicken Wings. Seriously, it is perfect for anything! Whether you want to be filled and eat wings for dinner or you want to take it out and use it as a complementary piece to your drinking binge, these chicken wings are definitely to die for.

Enjoy Your Time at the 99 Wonderland Park

This newly opened park located in Selayang used to be a disused lake, but has now turned into one of the city’s best tourist attractions for the whole family.

This place is filled with a lot of lights that can bedazzle you anywhere on the premises. Furthermore, there are plenty of rides to choose from such as the 99 Cruise, 99 Jetty, Deer Yard, and many more.

Experience the Magic in the River of Life

Just a little far away from Pasar Seni, located at the heart of the city, is the River of Life. Here, you will find a magnificent sculpture of the entire city and a host of fountains surround it. At night, the park managers will turn this on and it not only provides lighting to the entire set-piece, but it also dances to the tune of the music that is being played at that time as well.

Dine in the Sky

This is one of the things that I would really recommend that you do. Dinner at the Sky is not as popular as other attractions but that is probably due to the fact that there are some others that are afraid of heights.

Anyway, when you reserve a slot in this 20-person dining experience, you will be suspended 45 meters above the ground where you will be able to eat a full 3-course menu.

There is a chance that a lot of people will reserve their slots before you, so be sure to book beforehand.

Welcome to the Jungle

One of the things that I really love about Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur, in particular, is that it is home to many forest reserves.
You can go to one of the many forest reserves in the city and there are even some tour guides to help you explore the jungle with complete safety if you want.
